Ridgeline Montessori's Jog-a-Thon

On Friday Jayden's school had an all school Jog-a-thon fundraiser.... Why? Well, last summer half of their school burned in a fire, so this year the Kindergarten and 4-8th graders have been in a temporary location. Since then the students and families have been working really hard to help raise money for a new building.  The wonderful montessori community of Ridgeline has really pulled together, and remains optimistic that we'll only have one more year before moving to a permanent home.

The Jog-a-thon was SOO much fun! The middle schoolers ran for an hour, the 4th-6th graders for 40 minutes, 1st-3rd for 30 minutes and the Kinders for 20 minutes. As all the students ran together they were cheering each other on, giving high 5's, and pushing each other to keep going. It was such a wonderful and amazing event.

Here comes Jayden!!

She ran 11 laps in 20 minutes (almost a mile and a half!) and raised almost 200 dollars.
